A retrospective of Ieoh Ming Pei's works is set to open on Saturday at Hong Kong's M+ Museum, allowing visitors to have a closer look at the practice and career path of one of the greatest architects of the 20th and 21st centuries.
The exhibition, titled I. M. Pei: Life Is Architecture, features a wide selection of drawings, sketches, videos, models, photographs, and other archival documentation from Pei.
Architectural models of Pei’s projects -- from the National Gallery of Art East Building in Washington DC, the Bank of China Tower in Hong Kong, to the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha -- will also be shown in the exhibition.
The exhibition will last until Jan 5, 2025.
