Runway to the future

HONG KONG – A total of 12,000 runners joined the “Hong Kong International Airport ‧ Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon: Three-Runway System 10km International Race” in Hong Kong on Sunday. The event featured 3km, 5km, 10km, and wheelchair categories.

To honor their contributions to the Three-Runway System (3RS), 1,000 race spots were allocated to airport industry staff. The 3RS, partially operational since 2022, is slated to be fully operational on Nov 28.
