Inno4life 2024 & WBSC Baseball5 World Cup in HK, cuisine festival in Macao

HONG KONG – Playing chess with artificial intelligence, drawing paintings with sands and taking calligraphy lessons are up for experiencing along with other activities at the Inno4life 2024, which will take place in Hong Kong from Friday to Sunday.

The third edition of the cultural and scientific innovation exhibition will provide visitors with a rich experience, also offering workshops, seminars, demonstrations of the latest life technology and opportunities for shopping etc.

Five thematic zones will be set up at the exhibition, highlighting the innovative applications of environment protection, education, technology, health and culture.

WBSC Baseball5 World Cup

The WBSC Baseball5 World Cup 2024 will commence for the first time in Hong Kong on Oct 7, featuring 12 teams from five continents, including from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Taipei.

“Baseball5 comes from the desire to increase accessibility to baseball/softball,” Riccardo Fraccari, president of World Baseball Softball Confederation, said about the six-day event. “It is a new five-on-five, five-inning street version of the game of baseball or softball that can be played anywhere.”

Culinary feast

Macao pork chop buns, Taiwan oyster omelet, Spanish ham, Thai fried food and other delicacies have been served on tables at the ongoing Macau International Culture and Cuisine Festival cum the 5th Guangdong-Macau Culture and Cuisine Tour.

The event will run till Oct 7 at Guangdong-Macao In-depth Co-operation Zone in Hengqin, with 95 food stalls and 28 booths selling creative cultural products. Several exhibitions and experiencing areas have been set up for the visitors.

Eight famous bars in Zhuhai have joined the food festival to launch offline flash activities.

Biomedical advancement

The Greater Bay Area biomedical industry development conference and exhibition, set to begin in Guangzhou on Oct 12, will enable biomedical industry practitioners and stakeholders in the GBA a chance to explore business opportunities.

Sprawling over an area of 30,000 square meters, the three-day exhibition will feature 15 forums and 300 booths, and is expected to attract over 18,000 professional visitors.
