Residents from ethnic minority families in Hong Kong and members of government volunteer teams gathered on Sunday at the promenade of Tsim Sha Tsui to celebrate the upcoming 75th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China.

The event was hosted by the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau (CSTB) and Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD). Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism Kevin Yeung Yun-hung attended.

Meanwhile, scores of youths performed Chinese-style foot drills as part of the celebration in advance of the National Day in Wong Tai Sin.
