In celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China, over 120 works of the country’s modern and contemporary painters will be on display in Hong Kong.

The exhibition titled "Better Than Ever - Exhibition of Famous Works Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China" is organized by the Bauhinia Cultural Group and is set to open on Friday at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Many of the works are being exhibited in Hong Kong for the first time with the approval of the National Cultural Heritage Administration.

The participating artists include renowned Chinese modern and contemporary painters such as Qi Baishi, Fu Baoshi, and Wu Guanzhong, as well as well-known artists from Hong Kong and Macao such as Jao Tsung-I.
