More than 1,000 colorful lanterns in assorted shapes have hit the shelves at Yuen Long Tai Kiu Market as Hong Kong residents prepare for the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival.

The market, dubbed “Lantern Street”, is a hotspot for local shoppers seeking Mid-Autumn Festival decorations. 

It is renowned for its wide selection of traditional handcrafted lanterns available in joss paper shops located there.
