The iconic Blue House has turned into a dazzling place, with strands of beautiful lanterns entwining around the building, gently lighting up the night sky above Wan Chai.

To celebrate the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, the eye-catching architecture has been decorated with over 600 lanterns which were hand-painted by residents, local illustrators, and athletes.

The venue will also host a series of activities in the following weeks, including art workshops, weekend markets, and a Mid-Autumn Festival gala.

China Daily’s Adam Lam took the photos on Monday.
