HONG KONG - Hong Kong, China athletes departed for Paris on Monday night to showcase their talents and fight for glory for the city at the upcoming Olympic Games 2024.

A total of 35 athletes from Hong Kong will compete in 13 sporting events across France at the global sport event, which runs from July 26 to Aug 11. Fencer Edgar Cheung Ka-long and swimmer Siobhan Haughey will be Hong Kong, China's flagbearers at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics on Friday.
