Registration for the 2024 Shenzhen Marathon opened at 10 am on Tuesday, allowing people to apply for the 20,000 slots through the official Shenzhen Marathon website (http://shenzhenmarathon.org.cn/) or its app. Registration will close at 5 pm on Sept 18.

The marathon is scheduled for Dec 1 (Sunday) and will follow the same route as last year – starting at the Civic Center at Lianhuashan Hill (莲花山下市民中心) and finishing at Haibin Square in Bao'an District (宝安区海滨广场).
