Festivity in the air

Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee Ka-Chiu and Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Zheng Yanxiong, along with other officials, on Saturday joined the public at the launching ceremony of a celebration marking the 27th anniversary of the city's return to the motherland at Victoria Park in the city.
The Hong Kong Celebrations Association has organized the event, which runs from June 29 to July 2.
Featuring six themed exhibitions as well as celebration-themed photo booths, the event drew people from different walks of life.
