This year marks the 50th anniversary of China-Malaysia diplomatic relations. In an interview with China Daily, Zhao Hai, director of international political studies at the National Institute for Global Strategy, said there’s a rich historical interaction between China and Malaysia that we need to explore to understand. Based on that, we can move forward and encourage more interaction with the new generation, he added.
