World's first AI multimodal social network launched in HK

HONG KONG – ViVi.AI, the world's first artificial intelligence multimodal social network, was launched in Hong Kong on Friday.

The launching ceremony coincided with the establishment of ViVi.AI’s global operations headquarters in the special administrative region.

Officials, business leaders, representatives from organizations such as the Saudi business councils, the Japan-China Industrial Investment Promotion Association, and partners from France, the United States, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Japan and China's Taiwan region attended the launching event.

Peter Lam Kin-ngok, member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of Hong Kong Trade Development Council; Yao Yongjie, chairman and president of ViVi.Al; Habibullah Abdulkarim, former executive director for the Saudi-Chinese and Saudi-British Business Councils; and Ion Mirea, general manager of Fashion TV International; attended the program.

ViVi.AI adopts a multimodal AI model based on real people's IP and trains digital humans with different backgrounds and personalities to interact with users. It relies on the world's top digital human modeling technology to accurately restore details of archetypes, like their faces, facial expressions, and limbs, according to ViVi.AI's CEO Liu Yang.

With unique and attractive text, voice, and video calls, digital humans can give users never-ending emotional companionship and maintain long, deep relationships.

In his speech, Chiu Duncan, member of the CPPCC and president of the Hong Kong Information Technology Federation, said the arrival of ViVi.AI will drive Hong Kong to take a significant step forward in the research, development, and application of AI technology, bringing new economic growth points for the city.

Dr Xi Chunying, chairman of the Hong Kong Small and Medium-sized Listed Companies Association, welcomed global science and technology teams to Hong Kong for innovation and entrepreneurship. He said the association will provide quality services to help science and technology enterprises grow bigger and stronger.

Introducing the vision and future development directions of ViVi.AI, he said the explosion of AI promoted the integration of the real and virtual worlds, as well as humans and digital avatars.
