HONG KONG – The 15th edition of the biennial China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition, also known as Airshow China, will run from Tuesday through Nov 17 in the port city of Zhuhai.

The exhibition will be open to professional visitors from Tuesday to Thursday, and to the general public from Friday to Nov 17, with daily opening hours from 9 am to 5 pm.

According to circulated exhibition lists, the J-35A stealth fighter will perform flight demonstrations at the airshow, marking its first public display.

Logistics, maritime and aviation forum

About 2,000 people from over 30 countries will participate in the 14th Asian Logistics, Maritime and Aviation Conference, set to be held on Nov 18-19 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Themed “Shaping the Future of Supply Chains: Resilience and Sustainability”, the event will bring together stakeholders, including air, maritime, and logistics service providers, to explore global business opportunities and reinforce Hong Kong's status as an international shipping center.

Two new sessions, focusing on supply chain diversification and commitment to net-zero emission targets, have been added to this year’s program.

Visual feast with advanced tech

The annual Guangzhou International Light Festival will be held from Nov 9 to Nov 18, with a 360-degree circular lighting show making its debut at Canton Tower.

The festival has received nearly 50 groups of domestic and foreign designers' works and solicited related exhibition videos from around the world.

Artificial intelligence is the creativity source for this year’s festival, which will explore the integrated development of lighting technology with AI and future science and technology.

Need for speed

The 71st edition of the Macau Grand Prix will return to the special administrative region on Nov 14.

The four-day competition features seven events – Macau Grand Prix, the FIA FR World Cup; Macau GT Cup; Macau Guia Race; the 56th edition of Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix; the Greater Bay Area GT Cup; Macau Roadsport Challenge; and the Macau Reedsport – Macao SAR Establishment Cup.

Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, director of the Macao Government Tourism Office, said that Macao’s hotel booking rate has reached 70 percent, and she expects the figure to climb further as the event approaches.
