Cross-border e-commerce fair, GBA Arts Festival, international music festival

HONG KONG –  The China Cross-border E-commerce Fair (Autumn) 2024, set to be held on Aug 16-18, will bring together market players in the whole ecological chain, including supply chain, storage, logistics, finance, marketing, operation and talents.

With over 80,000 buyers expected to attend the event, the cross-border e-commerce fair will display more than 1 million new intelligent manufacturing products. International service providers, such as LinkedIn, Amazon, and Deloitte, will participate in the fair as well.

Subsided dental service

Starting Aug 14, the Elderly Health Care Voucher Greater Bay Area Pilot Scheme will be expanded to three more service points in Shenzhen, taking the number of Shenzhen dental providers accepting the vouchers to five.

The three new medical organizations are Shenzhen C.K.J Stomatological Hospital in Luohu district and Dental Bauhinia in Futian district, and Shenzhen New Frontier United Family Hospital.

Some institutions provide free shuttle bus and discounts. Arrangements for shared use of EHCVs between spouses are applicable to the three medical institutions in Shenzhen.

Youth cultural exchange

The inaugural Greater Bay Area (Macau) International Arts Festival will be held from Aug 17 to Aug 18 at Galaxy International Convention Center.

With the aim to foster connections between various art forms and promote cultural exchanges among young artists in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, a rich blend of musical performances, art exhibitions, master classes, workshops, etc. will be featured at the festival. Tickets are priced at MOP 250.

Return of global music festival

Music lovers in Hong Kong will be treated with a melodic extravaganza with the 11th Hong Kong International Music Festival set to make a triumphant comeback on Aug 15. The weeklong annual cultural event promises to be a harmonious convergence of musical talents, artistic shows, and cultural exchanges.

The festival will feature music and cultural activities from various arenas including music camps, competitions, concerts, master classes, seminars, and study tours in Hong Kong.

More than 4,000 experts, professionals and music enthusiasts are expected to join the festival.
