Pakistan navy conducts successful firing of surface-to-air missile

ISLAMABAD — The Pakistani navy has successfully conducted the firing of surface-to-air missiles, showcasing its ground-based air defense capabilities, the Pakistan Army has said.

During the live weapon firing exercise of FN-6 missiles, the Pakistani navy's ground-based air defense system accurately targeted and hit aerial targets, demonstrating its operational effectiveness, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) or the Pakistan Army's media wing said in a statement released on Wednesday.

"The successful missile firing underscores the Pakistan Navy's robust capability to respond to any potential enemy aggression," the statement said.

This exercise is a testament to the navy's preparedness and commitment to defending the nation's airspace against any threats.
