JINAN - Shandong Taishan smashed Zhejiang FC 3-0, while Meizhou Hakka FC beat Wuhan Three Towns 1-0 in the Chinese Super League (CSL) on Saturday.

Home side Shandong took the initiative as Brazilian forward Crysan broke the deadlock in the 14th minute. Li Yuanyi added another six minutes later, when he received a cross from Crysan inside the box. Before halftime, Zheng Zheng netted a free trick to further extend Shandong's lead.

In the 80th minute, Shandong midfielder Huang Zhengyu, who was recently called up to China's national team for their two World Cup qualifiers in June, was substituted with an apparent injury.

In Saturday's other game, Chen Jie's volley from a corner was enough to see Meizhou Hakka defeat Wuhan Three Towns.
