KYIV - At least one person was killed and two were injured on Friday in a Russian missile and drone attack on Kyiv, Ukraine's capital, authorities said.
The Ukrainian Air Force said Russia dropped several ballistic missiles after its overnight drone strikes on Kyiv.

Preliminary reports from the Kyiv City State Administration said that one person was killed in the city's southern Holosiivskyi district. Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the incident, adding that another two were injured and a heating main was damaged.

Debris from the intercepted projectiles ignited several roofs after falling across four districts in eastern, southern, western, and central Kyiv, he said.
In the Boryspil region near Kyiv, a massive fire broke out, engulfing a warehouse area of 15,000 square meters, reported local media.
