Hundreds of people queued outside the Macao Post Office on Friday morning, eager to bring home some newly released memorial stamps celebrating the Macao Special Administrative Region's silver jubilee.

To mark the 25th anniversary of the city's return to the motherland, the post office has issued a collection of themed stamps and philatelic merchandise.

The design of the stamps is centered on the lotus flower – an iconic emblem of Macao – and features various prominent landmarks and scenes that depict the city's progress.
