The Shenzhen branch of the Chinese University of Hong Kong hopes to attract more Hong Kong students in the future as it will be permitted from next academic year to admit students who have passed the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education examination.

During Friday’s press conference introducing the Shenzhen institution’s development over the past decade, the school said that, compared to the main campus in Hong Kong, the Shenzhen branch may have higher quotas for certain popular majors, and encouraged students to enroll.
