Performing arts expo, hydrogen energy conference, trade-investment fair

HONG KONG – Starting on Oct 14, the week-long inaugural Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo is set to showcase the city's vibrant performing arts scene through a series of exciting cross-disciplinary activities.

The expo will offer audiences a diverse array of top-tier performances by local and international artists, exhibitions, lectures, and art program presentations covering various artistic genres, including dance, drama, musicals, singing, traditional opera, and multimedia.

Cultural tours to Guangzhou and Shenzhen will also be arranged. Residents will also be invited to engage in a range of public activities including a series of lectures given by industry leaders from the cultural and arts sectors.

Shaping a greener future

The 2024 Hydrogen Energy Industry Conference, China’s largest event focusing on hydrogen and fuel cell development, is set to take place in Nanhai, Foshan on Oct 18.

Aimed to share interpretations of the latest policies in this field, facilitate exchanges of cutting-edge technologies, and enhance integration within the industrial supply chain, the conference is expecting over 10,000 professional attendees.

A key element of the conference, the 8th International Hydrogen Energy & Fuel Cell Technology and Product Expo will showcase the latest technologies and products in the area.  

Game fair to bolster industry

Games and amusement industry players and lovers will gather in Zhongshan with the 16th Zhongshan International Games and Amusement Fair 2024 set to begin on Oct 15.

The three-day fair will cover nine exhibition areas, including digital gaming, digital sport, smart tourism and recreation equipment. Over 500 exhibitors are expected to attend.

The event comes as Zhongshan is making big efforts to inject fresh momentum into the industry.

Driving diversified development

The 29th Macao International Trade and Investment Fair will be held on Oct 16-19, as the special administrative region seeks to attract investors, businesses and talents to drive diversified economic development, reducing its reliance on gaming industry to promote sustainable growth.

The fair will feature a range of thematic business promotion activities designed to illustrate Macao’s “1+4” economic diversification strategy.
