Part of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of China-France diplomatic ties, the exhibition will feature 79 pieces of Giacometti’s carvings, including one of his most famous works - the Tall Women I, completed in 1960, at Chun Yang Tai Arts and Cultural Centre in Guangzhou.

Born in Switzerland in the turn of the 20th century, Giacometti left many artistic footprints in Paris, France, and was recognized as one of the most influential sculptors of his time.

HK bourse’s new plan for bad weather

The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing will enforce new arrangements from Sept 23, allowing the city’s securities and derivatives markets to stay open and provide trading, clearing, and settlement services under severe weather conditions.

HKEX, in collaboration with the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government, had completed consultations with the financial industry earlier this year on the feasibility of implementing the new plan before making its decision.
