The 2024 Pacific Asia Travel Association Annual Summit, set for May 15-17 in Macao, will bring together global industry leaders and senior decision-makers to professionally engage in driving tourism around the Asia-Pacific region to innovate and inspire sustainable tourism.

Themed “Reimaging Tourism”, the summit will be the first PATA event to be held in the special administrative region after the COVID-19 pandemic and allow the city to exchange and connect with the global tourism industry.

Strengths in healthcare sector

The Asia Summit on Global Health will be held on May 16-17 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, coinciding with the third edition of International Healthcare Week, to facilitate more cross-disciplinary collaboration between industry players and interlocutors.

This year’s spotlight will be on the latest trends in different medical sectors, including fostering collaboration for next-generation healthcare businesses and youth mental health in the digital world.

Envisaging elderly care industry

A three-day exhibition on the elderly care and rehabilitation industries will begin on May 16 at the Convention and Exhibition Center in Shenzhen’s Futian district.

The fair, expected to attract about 5,000 exhibitors, will also serve as a remarkable platform for about 400,000 professionals and many leading enterprises from the sector to foster exchanges and help develop a robust elderly care ecosystem.

Meeting top-notch bakers

For bakery enthusiasts, the 27th China Bakery Exhibition, staging until Sunday in Guangzhou, is the perfect place to engage with master bakers and sample their creations.

As the premier baking industry event in south China, the expo has drawn more than 200,000 professional visitors and over 1,500 premium exhibitors this year, showcasing the latest trends and innovations in the realm of bakery.
